The second half of the 1990s was a good period for TVR. The Companys products, the Chimaera, Cerbera, Griffith and the race-bred Tuscan, sold strongly and benefited from attractive and distinctive styling which was in a difference league from the rather brutal efforts of TVRs earlier years. And these cars bore comparison with the best from the bigger manufacturers, too. The features reproduced in this book make the point well. The Company had started as long ago as 1954 in Blackpool as a manufacturer of tubular chassis for the kit-car market.
