The Brooklands Books Story

Established over 60 years ago, Brooklands Books has been publishing its own motoring titles ever since. Over the years the books that have been created known as ‘road test’ books, draw on articles from 42 of the world’s leading motoring magazines. Filled with informed and reliable test comment, specifications, performance data and photo’s, road & comparison tests, technical and performance data plus expert advice on buying and restoration. The Brooklands ‘Road Test’ books furnish all the essential information on the car or motorcycle that you own, are thinking of buying or simply admire.

In later years Brooklands Books was proud to be invited to join up with the British Motor Heritage Trust allowing the publisher to start producing the official factory workshop manuals and part catalogues from some of the top British makers.
Heritage Approval means that Brooklands Books meet strict criteria regarding quality of service, product knowledge, financial stability and premises. Only the premier companies in the classic sector are approved
to display the accreditation sign.

Today Brooklands Books continues to preserve the history of motor literature in the titles they have created. Continuing to be the only producer of Jaguar/Land Rover workshop manuals in the world. The company is forever striving to keep supplying the market with this much needed information required to keep these legendary vehicles on the road.
