During the early 1950s Berkeley Coachwork produced caravans and pioneered new techniques in fibreglass and lightweight sandwich construction.
With a lull in production in 1955 Laurie Bond arrived with an idea of a new small sports car. In 1957 there were various improvements to the bodywork and a Sports Deluxe joined the range and as many cars were exported they were designed to be left or right hand drive from the start. This book tells the story of the classic sportscars from Berkeley.
