This manual has, in the main, been produced from the original instruction books and manuals of the Aston Martin Companies but it must be remembered that for some models no literature was produced at all. The manual covers the years 1921 to 1958 and that is from the Long Chassis. S.V. up to and including the DB3 & DB3S. With sections on general information and data, routine maintenance and lubrication, general overhauls, electrical wiring diagrams, general components – carburetters – clutches – brakes – electrics and engineering drawings. This manual was first printed in October 1970 and there was a design fault with the book, the text was printed too small to read, so this enlarged edition the text is over 50% bigger.
