Brief easy-to-follow instructions are given for the servicing and repair of the Renault Trafic, also known as Trafic II with the 2.0 litre 16V petrol engine, engine type F4R and the 1.9 litre direct diesel injection (dCi or DTI) engine. Based on the Trafic and practically identical is the Vivaro, marketed by Vauxhall, as is the Nissan version. The information based in this manual are, however, based entirely on the Trafic II.
The 2.0 litre engine, introduced during 2001, is a four-cylinder 2.0 litre engine and 16 valves with a performance of 120 BHP (88 kW). The 1.9 litre diesel engine has a performance of 80 or 100 B.H.P. (50 or 74 kW).
